123AI Books is built with a privacy-first design. We do not sell personal data and do not include third-party analytics SDKs.

What We Collect

We do not collect customer behavioral analytics, ad identifiers, or tracking data.

To operate the service, required platform providers process limited operational data:

• - Account authentication data handled by Supabase Auth.
• - Purchase/payment processing metadata handled by Stripe and verified server-side.
• - App content state (e.g., book progress, quiz attempts, discussion content) stored in Supabase under strict access control.

What We Do Not Collect

• - No advertising profile data.
• - No cross-app tracking.
• - No third-party analytics events.
• - No sale of personal information.

How Data Is Used

Operational data is used only to:

• - Authenticate users.
• - Grant paid access to books/features.
• - Sync user progress and learning state.
• - Provide discussion functionality.

Data Storage & Security

• - Data is stored using secure Supabase infrastructure.
• - Access is restricted through row-level security (RLS).
• - Private media is protected with short-lived signed URLs.
• - Sensitive tokens are kept in platform secure storage on device.

Your Controls

Users can request account deletion and data deletion via support workflow (to be implemented in-app).

Children

123AI Books is not directed to children under 13 without verified guardian consent and applicable legal compliance.

Books may carry advisory content ratings to help guardians decide what is appropriate. Parents and guardians — not 123AI Books — decide what their children may access and configure the app's parental controls accordingly. Ratings are best-effort and automated; we cannot guarantee that all mature content is flagged. See CONTENT_RATINGS.md for the full ratings model and disclaimer.

Policy updates will be logged in CHANGELOG.md with America/New_York timestamps.
